A 11. sz\u00e1zad k\u00f6zep\u00e9n a mai Kaposv\u00e1r ter\u00fclet\u00e9t a Gy\u0151r nembeli Atha (m\u00e1s n\u00e9ven Ott\u00f3) somogyi isp\u00e1n uralta. \u0150 volt az, aki 1061-ben benc\u00e9s<\/a> monostort alap\u00edtott Zselicszentjakabon. Az alap\u00edt\u00f3lev\u00e9lb\u0151l kit\u0171nik, hogy akkor m\u00e1r \u00e1llt egy r\u00e9gi, romos templom a Kapos foly\u00f3<\/a> f\u00f6l\u00e9 emelked\u0151 dombon, amelyet Atha isp\u00e1n most \u00fajj\u00e1\u00e9p\u00edttetett Sz\u0171z M\u00e1ria, Szent Jakab \u00e9s Mindenszentek tisztelet\u00e9re. A monostor felszentel\u00e9s\u00e9n \u2013 1067 k\u00f6r\u00fcl \u2013 a dalm\u00e1ciai hadj\u00e1ratb\u00f3l hazat\u00e9r\u0151 Salamon kir\u00e1ly \u00e9s G\u00e9za herceg is r\u00e9szt vett.<\/p>\n
