Az \u00f6sszeget 1874. janu\u00e1r 4-\u00e9n kapta k\u00e9zhez a szorgalmas iparos. (Hogy azt\u00e1n viselte-e Erzs\u00e9bet a nagyat\u00e1di k\u00f6dm\u00f6nt, arr\u00f3l nem sz\u00f3l a kr\u00f3nika.) Ekkort\u00e1jt egy kaposv\u00e1ri \u00fatbiztosnak is hasonl\u00f3 \u00f6tlete t\u00e1madt. A der\u00e9k hivatalnok varrni ugyan nem tudott, viszont az \u00e9vek sor\u00e1n k\u00fcl\u00f6nleges gy\u0171jtem\u00e9nyre tett szert r\u00e9gi p\u00e9nz\u00e9rm\u00e9kb\u0151l. Az \u00e9rt\u00e9kes kollekci\u00f3t <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-050\">Ferenc J\u00f3zsef<\/a> \u00e9s Erzs\u00e9bet kir\u00e1lyn\u00e9 ez\u00fcstmenyegz\u0151j\u00e9re k\u00fcldt\u00e9k fel 1879-ben. Az szint\u00e9n a hetvenes \u00e9vek v\u00e9g\u00e9n esett meg, hogy a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-170\">kisded\u00f3voda<\/a>\u00a0\u00fcgy\u00e9ben kaposv\u00e1ri k\u00fcld\u00f6tts\u00e9g kereste fel az uralkod\u00f3t.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">Az meg 1888-ban t\u00f6rt\u00e9nt, hogy K\u00e1roly Tivadar bajor kir\u00e1lyi herceg \u2013 Erzs\u00e9bet kir\u00e1lyn\u00e9 fiv\u00e9re \u2013 a magyar nyelvet akarv\u00e1n gyakorolni, magyar t\u00e1rsalg\u00f3t keresett maga mell\u00e9. Ny\u00e1regyh\u00e1zi Nagy S\u00e1ndor mellett d\u00f6nt\u00f6tt, aki nem volt m\u00e1s, mint a kaposf\u00fcredi gazdatiszt fia, a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-211\">kaposv\u00e1ri gimn\u00e1zium<\/a>\u00a0volt tanul\u00f3ja, akkoriban \u00e9ppen m\u00fcncheni orvosn\u00f6vend\u00e9k! K\u00e9t \u00e9vvel k\u00e9s\u0151bb, 1890 nyar\u00e1n a somogyi fiatalember m\u00e1r seg\u00e9dorvosk\u00e9nt dolgozott a bajor herceg mellett, akit egy\u00e9bk\u00e9nt \u2013 rang ide vagy oda \u2013 kiv\u00e1l\u00f3 szem\u00e9sznek tartottak.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">Az \u00f3vod\u00e1hoz hasonl\u00f3an az 1880-as \u00e9vekben \u00e9p\u00fclt kaposv\u00e1ri \u00e1rvah\u00e1z is a kir\u00e1lyl\u00e1ny, a Magyarorsz\u00e1gon sz\u00fcletett M\u00e1ria Val\u00e9ria f\u0151hercegn\u0151 nev\u00e9t viselte, az 1898-ban meggyilkolt Erzs\u00e9betr\u0151l pedig <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-051\">utc\u00e1t<\/a>, <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-128\">sz\u00e1llod\u00e1t<\/a>, s\u0151t g\u0151zf\u00fcrd\u0151t, g\u0151zmalmot \u00e9s <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-188\">vas\u00fati fel\u00fclj\u00e1r\u00f3t<\/a> is elneveztek Kaposv\u00e1ron \u2013 nem besz\u00e9lve a polg\u00e1ri le\u00e1nyiskola volt n\u00f6vend\u00e9keinek egyes\u00fclet\u00e9r\u0151l.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">Maga Erzs\u00e9bet egy\u00e9bk\u00e9nt soha nem heverte ki fia \u00f6ngyilkoss\u00e1g\u00e1t; a kir\u00e1lyn\u00e9 lelke m\u00e1r az 1898-as genfi mer\u00e9nylet el\u0151tt hal\u00e1los sebet kapott.
