Az els\u0151 kis t\u0171zolt\u00f3szert\u00e1r a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-017\">f\u0151t\u00e9ri katolikus templom<\/a>\u00a0m\u00f6g\u00f6tt \u00e1llt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">Noha a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-065\">B\u00e1r\u00e1ny Guszt\u00e1v<\/a>\u00a0polg\u00e1rmester eln\u00f6klet\u00e9vel 1875-ben z\u00e1szl\u00f3t bontott <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-114\">\u00f6nk\u00e9ntes t\u0171zolt\u00f3egylet<\/a>\u00a0\u00e1t\u00e9lt n\u00e9h\u00e1ny kritikus id\u0151szakot, a kilencvenes \u00e9vek elej\u00e9re rendezni tudta a sorait. A Teleki utc\u00e1ban 1891. m\u00e1rcius v\u00e9g\u00e9n megkezdt\u00e9k az emeletes t\u0171zolt\u00f3szert\u00e1r \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9t, augusztusra \u00e1llt is a jellegzetes torony, \u00e9s okt\u00f3ber elej\u00e9n m\u00e1r ott tartott\u00e1k az \u0151rs\u00e9get. A nyolcsz\u00f6glet\u0171 tornyot a harmadik szinten k\u00e9mlel\u0151erk\u00e9ly vette k\u00f6r\u00fcl \u2013 hajdan\u00e1n innen ellen\u0151rizt\u00e9k a v\u00e1rost, nem rep\u00fcl-e fel valahonnan a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-115\">v\u00f6r\u00f6s kakas<\/a>.
