Kaposv\u00e1rnak ebben az id\u0151ben m\u00e9g nem volt vas\u00fatja, nem \u00fagy Bogl\u00e1rnak, hiszen a megye els\u0151 vonala, amelyet 1861-ben nyitott meg a jeles vas\u00fatt\u00e1rsas\u00e1g, a D\u00e9li Vas\u00fat, a Balaton somogyi oldal\u00e1n v\u00e9gighaladva k\u00f6t\u00f6tte \u00f6ssze Bud\u00e1t Nagykanizs\u00e1val. A <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-033\">\u201emagyar tenger\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u00e9s a somogyi sz\u00e9kv\u00e1ros k\u00f6z\u00f6tt viszont m\u00e9g csak k\u00f6z\u00faton lehetett k\u00f6zlekedni, ami es\u0151z\u00e9sek ut\u00e1n nem volt \u00e9ppen le\u00e1ny\u00e1lom\u2026 <em>\u201eHa figyelembe vessz\u00fck <\/em>\u2013 \u00edrta a \u201el\u00f3vonat\u00fa vasp\u00e1lya\u201d terv\u00e9r\u0151l a korabeli sajt\u00f3 \u2013<em>, hogy a sz\u00e9kv\u00e1rosnak egyik f\u0151bb k\u00f6zleked\u00e9si vonala a kaposv\u00e1r\u2013bogl\u00e1ri, melyen a teherhord\u00e1s sz\u00fcntelen\u00fcl foly a vas\u00fat\u00e1llom\u00e1shoz, s \u00e9ppen ezen \u00fatvonal a legelhagyatottabb, biztons\u00e1g n\u00e9lk\u00fcli, annyira, hogy sokszor az \u00fcres kocsit is alig lehet vontatni \u2013 k\u00f6nny\u0171 a sz\u00e1m\u00edt\u00e1s, hogy e vonalnak ki\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9se nemcsak \u00e1ltal\u00e1nos rokonszenvvel tal\u00e1lkozik, hanem nagy j\u00f6vedelmet is fog hozni a v\u00e1llalkoz\u00f3knak.
