Erzs\u00e9bet kir\u00e1lyn\u00e9t (1837\u20131898) ugyanis sz\u00edvvel \u00e9s \u00e9sszel egyar\u00e1nt lehetett \u00fcnnepelni.<\/p>\n

Erzs\u00e9bet alakj\u00e1ba, aki az udvarban k\u00f6zismerten \u201emakrancos h\u00f6lgy\u201d volt, egy kicsit a magyar f\u00fcggetlens\u00e9get<\/a>\u00a0is bele lehetett k\u00e9pzelni, mik\u00f6zben a k\u00f6telez\u0151 alattval\u00f3i h\u0171s\u00e9g sem szenvedett csorb\u00e1t. Lehets\u00e9ges azonban, hogy eleinket t\u00fal messzire ragadta az Erzs\u00e9bet ir\u00e1nt \u00e9rzett vonzalom, amikor a magyarokat val\u00f3ban kedvel\u0151 kir\u00e1lyn\u00e9t\u00f3l hasonl\u00f3 h\u0151fok\u00fa lelkesed\u00e9st v\u00e1rtak el. Mintha ebben a vonzalomban a \u201eszeretn\u00e9nk, ha szeretn\u00e9nek\u201d gondolata \u00f6lt\u00f6tt volna testet. Mert h\u00e1t nagyon elhagyatott \u00e9s nagyon kiszolg\u00e1ltatott volt ez az orsz\u00e1g akkor, az 1850-es \u00e9vekben, amikor az Erzs\u00e9bet-kultusz megsz\u00fcletett. A kir\u00e1lyn\u00e9 \u00e9s a somogyiak kapcsolata azonban m\u00e1r kor\u00e1bban elkezd\u0151d\u00f6tt. Erzs\u00e9bet magyar felolvas\u00f3n\u0151j\u00e9t, Ferenczy Id\u00e1t 1866. febru\u00e1r 10-\u00e9n egy somogyi h\u00f6lgy, Talli\u00e1n R\u00f3za, Jankovich L\u00e1szl\u00f3<\/a>\u00a0f\u0151isp\u00e1n feles\u00e9ge mutatta be az egyik f\u0151v\u00e1rosi b\u00e1l k\u00f6z\u00f6ns\u00e9g\u00e9nek. Amikor pedig a f\u0151isp\u00e1nt \u2013 m\u00e9g szint\u00e9n a kiegyez\u00e9s<\/a>\u00a0el\u0151tt \u2013 fogadt\u00e1k a \u201elegmagasabb helyen\u201d, \u0151 szer\u00e9t ejtette, hogy elbesz\u00e9lgessen Ferenc J\u00f3zsef ifj\u00fa feles\u00e9g\u00e9vel.
