A hatalmi j\u00e1tszm\u00e1ban ez\u00fattal is kulcsszerepet kapott a p\u00e9nz\u2026 Amilyen \u00e1llhatatosan k\u00fczd\u00f6ttek az int\u00e9zm\u00e9ny\u00e9rt annak somogyi p\u00e1rtfog\u00f3i, az \u00f6nk\u00e9nyuralom \u00e9ppen olyan k\u00f6vetkezetesen t\u00f6rekedett arra, hogy a gimn\u00e1ziumi alapokat \u00e1llami kezel\u00e9sbe vegye. \u00cdgy az <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-174\">iskola igazgat\u00f3 v\u00e1lasztm\u00e1ny\u00e1nak<\/a>\u00a01855. m\u00e1rcius 8-i \u00fcl\u00e9se is tiltakozni k\u00e9nyszer\u00fclt e k\u00eds\u00e9rletek ellen, nyomat\u00e9kosan hangs\u00falyozva, hogy mag\u00e1njelleg\u0171 alap\u00edtv\u00e1nyokr\u00f3l van sz\u00f3. Ut\u00f3v\u00e9gre minden <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-049\">ellen\u00e1ll\u00e1s<\/a>\u00a0hasztalannak bizonyult, mert a megyei hat\u00f3s\u00e1g 1858. november 20-\u00e1n \u00e1tvette a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-174\">kaposv\u00e1ri gimn\u00e1zium<\/a>\u00a0vagyon\u00e1t. A v\u00e1lasztm\u00e1ny azonban nemcsak megtagadta az \u00e1tv\u00e9teli okm\u00e1ny al\u00e1\u00edr\u00e1s\u00e1t, hanem kimondta: soha bele nem egyeznek abba, <em>\u201ehogy az \u0151seik \u00e9s saj\u00e1t maguk \u00e1ldoz\u00f3k\u00e9szs\u00e9g\u00e9b\u0151l keletkezett int\u00e9zet gondvisel\u00e9s\u00fck al\u00f3l elvonatv\u00e1n, m\u00e1s b\u00e1rki \u00e1ltal kezeltess\u00e9k, vagy az alap\u00edt\u00f3k sz\u00e1ndoka ellen\u00e9re \u00e1tv\u00e1ltoztass\u00e9k\u201d<\/em>. A korszer\u0171 pedag\u00f3giai k\u00f6vetelm\u00e9nyeknek megfelel\u0151 v\u00e1ltoztat\u00e1sok \u2013 \u00edgy a k\u00e9t \u00faj oszt\u00e1ly fel\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1sa mellett az addig hi\u00e1nyz\u00f3 rajzterem \u00e9s tornacsarnok berendez\u00e9se \u2013 viszont olyan terheket jelentettek, amelyeket m\u00e1r csak \u00e1llami seg\u00edts\u00e9ggel l\u00e1ttak elviselhet\u0151nek a kaposv\u00e1ri tan\u00fcgybar\u00e1tok. Megint Somssich P\u00e1l volt az, aki ebben a helyzetben a legjobb megold\u00e1st v\u00e1lasztva kieszk\u00f6z\u00f6lte az \u00e1llamos\u00edt\u00e1st.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">\u00cdgy t\u00f6rt\u00e9nt, hogy az 1869\/70-es tan\u00e9vvel a kor\u00e1bban v\u00e1rmegyei fenntart\u00e1s\u00fa \u00e9s r\u00f3mai katolikus jelleg\u0171 kaposv\u00e1ri gimn\u00e1zium az \u00e1llami int\u00e9zetek sor\u00e1ba l\u00e9pett.
