Az 1807. november 19-\u00e9n megny\u00edlt agg\u00e1polda alap\u00edt\u00f3level\u00e9ben a pl\u00e9b\u00e1nos el\u00e1rulta, hogy m\u00e9lyen megind\u00edtotta a kaposv\u00e1ri n\u00e9p j\u00e1mbors\u00e1ga, Isten- \u00e9s emberszeretete. (Eml\u00e9kirat\u00e1ban hozz\u00e1teszi, hogy bar\u00e1tja, Szentbal\u00e1zs pl\u00e9b\u00e1nosa is azt aj\u00e1nlotta neki: Kaposv\u00e1ron folytassa a j\u00f3t\u00e9konykod\u00e1st.) Nagyj\u00e1b\u00f3l ott kapott helyet az agg\u00e1polda, ahol ma az Anna utca a F\u0151 utc\u00e1ba torkollik. Egy r\u00e9gi k\u00e1polna mell\u00e9 \u00e9p\u00fclt, amely a 19. sz\u00e1zad k\u00f6zep\u00e9n (am\u00edg le nem bontott\u00e1k) a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-079\">Szent Anna<\/a>\u00a0titulust viselte.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">A kaposv\u00e1ri szeg\u00e9nyek \u00e9s az itt megbetegedett idegenek sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra \u2013 vall\u00e1sk\u00fcl\u00f6nbs\u00e9g n\u00e9lk\u00fcl! \u2013 szolg\u00e1l\u00f3 int\u00e9zm\u00e9ny megalap\u00edt\u00f3ja a p\u00e9csi egyh\u00e1zmegye legkiv\u00e1l\u00f3bb papjai k\u00f6z\u00e9 tartozott. A k\u0151szegi sz\u00fclet\u00e9s\u0171 Winkler Mih\u00e1lyt (1729\u20131810) 1754-ben szentelt\u00e9k papp\u00e1, s h\u00e1rom \u00e9v m\u00falva kezdte meg g\u00f6drei szolg\u00e1lat\u00e1t. K\u00e9s\u0151bb Szakad\u00e1ton, Bonyh\u00e1don, v\u00e9g\u00fcl ism\u00e9t G\u00f6dr\u00e9n m\u0171k\u00f6d\u00f6tt. Minden \u00e1llom\u00e1shely\u00e9n \u2013 s\u0151t m\u00e9g Bikalon is \u2013 \u00e9p\u00edtett templomot, Kaposv\u00e1ron <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-036\">a gimn\u00e1ziumot is t\u00e1mogatta<\/a>. Mivel saj\u00e1t maga szer\u00e9nyen \u00e9lt, sokan tal\u00e1lgatt\u00e1k, honnan van p\u00e9nze a j\u00f3t\u00e9konykod\u00e1sra. (N\u00e9h\u00e1ny v\u00e1ltozat: egy haldokl\u00f3 tisztt\u0151l kapta, a korm\u00e1ny adta neki, kincset tal\u00e1lt, az \u00f6rd\u00f6ggel cimbor\u00e1l.) A pl\u00e9b\u00e1nos azonban \u00fagy nyilatkozott a p\u00fcsp\u00f6k sz\u00edne el\u0151tt, hogy kiz\u00e1r\u00f3lag az\u00e9rt tud adni, mert takar\u00e9koskodik.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">Ezenk\u00edv\u00fcl a tudom\u00e1nyt is kedvelte \u00e9s m\u0171velte Winkler Mih\u00e1ly, t\u00f6rt\u00e9nelemmel \u00e9s nyelv\u00e9szettel foglalkozott, \u00e9remgy\u0171jtem\u00e9nyt \u00e1ll\u00edtott \u00f6ssze. Utols\u00f3 k\u00edv\u00e1ns\u00e1ga az volt, hogy sz\u00edve a kaposv\u00e1ri agg\u00e1polda fal\u00e1ba ker\u00fclj\u00f6n, a k\u00f6vetkez\u0151 sz\u00f6veggel: <em>\u201eKrisztus mond\u00e1: ott l\u00e9szen a sz\u00edved, ahol vagyon kincsed.
