Sz\u00e1mos szobrot mozd\u00edtott ki ugyanis v\u00e9glegesnek sz\u00e1nt poz\u00edci\u00f3j\u00e1b\u00f3l a telep\u00fcl\u00e9srendez\u00e9s k\u00e9nyszere, a v\u00e1rossz\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s sz\u00e1nd\u00e9ka, nemritk\u00e1n csup\u00e1n a politikai akarat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">A F\u0151 utc\u00e1n \u2013 val\u00f3sz\u00edn\u0171leg a gyakori pestisj\u00e1rv\u00e1nyok miatt, fogadalomb\u00f3l \u2013 fel\u00e1ll\u00edtott barokk Szent R\u00f3kus-szobrot, amelyet 1766. m\u00e1jus 7-\u00e9n \u00e1ldott meg Gy\u00f6re Istv\u00e1n esperespl\u00e9b\u00e1nos, 1881-ben v\u00e1rosrendez\u00e9si okokb\u00f3l a De\u00e1k t\u00e9rre (a k\u00e9s\u0151bbi Pet\u0151fi t\u00e9rre) vitt\u00e9k \u00e1t. Az 1910-es \u00e9vekben az Arany J\u00e1nos t\u00e9rre vezetett az \u00fatja, hogy hat \u00e9vtizeddel k\u00e9s\u0151bb a Szent Margit-templom mell\u00e9 k\u00f6lt\u00f6zz\u00f6n. S a meglep\u0151 \u00fajabb fordulat: 1997 \u0151sz\u00e9n visszaker\u00fclt az Arany J\u00e1nos t\u00e9rre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">1770 t\u00e1j\u00e1n k\u00e9sz\u00fclt el a rokok\u00f3 M\u00e1ria-oszlop. Am\u00fagy ez a v\u00e1ros m\u00e1sodik legid\u0151sebb szobra, hiszen 1742-ben k\u00e9sz\u00fclt. A barokk alkot\u00e1st a k\u00e9s\u0151bbi Szent J\u00e1nos, majd Sz\u00e9chenyi t\u00e9ren (a mai Berzsenyi utca elej\u00e9n) 1766-ban elk\u00e9sz\u00fclt Nepomuki Szent J\u00e1nos-k\u00e1poln\u00e1ba vitt\u00e9k \u00e1t, s itt \u00e9lte t\u00fal az <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-034\">1802-es nagy t\u0171zv\u00e9szt<\/a>. A 19. sz\u00e1zad k\u00f6zep\u00e9n azonban lebontott\u00e1k a k\u00e1poln\u00e1t, s a szobor a t\u00e9ren f\u00fart k\u00fat k\u00f6zel\u00e9ben kapott helyet, 1869 nyar\u00e1n pedig egy Kaposi Ill\u00e9s nev\u0171 fiatalember orvul befestette. A parkos\u00edtott Sz\u00e9chenyi t\u00e9rr\u0151l 1942-ben (m\u00e1s adatok szerint m\u00e1r 1932-ben) a pl\u00e9b\u00e1nia kertj\u00e9be hozt\u00e1k \u00e1t, ahonnan 1989-ben vitt\u00e9k el a nagytemplom d\u00e9lnyugati sark\u00e1hoz.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">A r\u00e9gi szobrok k\u00f6z\u00fcl sok\u00e1ig csak a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-086\">\u201eGugyul\u00f3 J\u00e9zus\u201d<\/a>\u00a0helye t\u0171nt biztosnak \u2013 2003. j\u00fanius 4-\u00e9re virrad\u00f3ra azonban a kaposv\u00e1riak sz\u00edv\u00e9hez igencsak k\u00f6zel \u00e1ll\u00f3 szobrot ellopt\u00e1k! Az eg\u00e9sz v\u00e1ros agg\u00f3dott a k\u00fcl\u00f6nleges alkot\u00e1s\u00e9rt, szerencs\u00e9re a rend\u0151rs\u00e9g m\u00e9g abban a h\u00f3napban el\u0151ker\u00edtette. R\u00e9gi hely\u00e9re, az \u00fcveglapos oszlopba a szobor m\u00e1solat\u00e1t tett\u00e9k vissza, m\u00edg az eredetit, amelyet restaur\u00e1ltak is, biztons\u00e1gba helyezt\u00e9k. B\u00f6lcs d\u00f6nt\u00e9snek bizonyult, mert 2006 febru\u00e1rj\u00e1ban a m\u00e1solatnak szint\u00e9n l\u00e1ba kelt\u2026 (Szerencs\u00e9re ezt is megtal\u00e1lt\u00e1k a rend\u0151r\u00f6k.) Az eredeti szobrot a <a href=\"\/varostortenet\/b-141\">v\u00e1rosh\u00e1za<\/a> l\u00e9pcs\u0151pihen\u0151j\u00e9ben \u00e1ll\u00edtott\u00e1k ki egy \u00fcvegvitrinben.<\/p>\n<p class=\"kv-page-content-paragraph\">Ezzel persze kor\u00e1ntsem \u00e9rt\u00fcnk a v\u00e9g\u00e9re v\u00e1ndorl\u00f3 szobraink sz\u00e1mbav\u00e9tel\u00e9nek.
